This Privacy Policy explains how Fit For Coach ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the app as a coach or as a client. By creating an account you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
Fit For Coach is a coaching application operated by Benedek Tamás PFA, Iancu de Hunedoara 10, scara A, ap. 3, Miercurea Ciuc, Romania. For any privacy question you can reach us at info@fitforcoach.app. Where required by law, this operator is the data controller for the personal data described below.
Account data: your name, email address and role (coach or client), and — if you sign in with Google — your Google account email and basic profile.
Client health & fitness data: the questionnaire you complete, including your goal, experience level, weekly training frequency, diet style, preferred foods, food allergies and intolerances, injuries or physical limitations, and any free-text notes. We also store your body weight and weigh-in history, your training and nutrition plans, and which workouts and meals you mark as completed.
Subscription & payment data (coaches only): your subscription tier and status, and identifiers returned by Google Play / RevenueCat. We do NOT store your card details — all billing is handled entirely by Google Play.
Security data: for coaches, two-factor authentication (TOTP) settings, and standard technical data needed to keep your session secure.
Some information you provide — such as allergies, injuries, body weight and health goals — is "special category" data (health data) under the GDPR. We process it only to deliver the coaching features you request, and, where required, on the basis of your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
We use your data to: create and secure your account; let a coach and their linked client share plans and progress; generate personalised training and nutrition plans; track weight, workouts and meals; process coach subscriptions; and operate, protect and improve the service.
When a coach generates a plan, the relevant client questionnaire data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the plan. Plans are automated suggestions to support a qualified coach — they are not medical advice and do not replace professional judgement. See our Terms of Service.
We share data only with the service providers that make the app work, acting as our processors under contract:
• Supabase — database, authentication and hosting (EU region).\n• Anthropic — AI generation of training and nutrition plans.\n• Google Play & RevenueCat — coach subscription billing and receipt validation.\n• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google".
We do not sell your personal data. A coach can see the data of clients linked to them; a client's data is only visible to their own coach and to the client.
Some providers (e.g. Anthropic, Google) may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (e.g. payment records) to meet legal obligations.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, contact info@fitforcoach.app. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We protect your data with row-level security (each user only reaches their own data), encryption in transit, optional two-factor authentication for coaches, and server-side handling of all secret keys. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
The app is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Our own marketing tooling uses YouTube API Services to publish videos that we produce ourselves to our own Fit For Coach YouTube channel. This is an internal tool operated only by us.
This does not involve you. As a coach or client using the app, we do not access, collect, store or share any YouTube data belonging to you, and the app does not ask you to connect a YouTube account. The only YouTube account involved is our own company channel.
Where we do use YouTube API Services, we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
The only data our tool stores from YouTube is the access and refresh credentials for our own channel, plus that channel's public name and identifier. These are kept encrypted, are never shared, and are deleted when the connection is removed. Access granted to our tool can be revoked at any time from the Google account permissions page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions), which immediately and permanently ends its access.
